I Shakil Abid Holding Marine Certificate Of Competency chief Mate (UK/Pakistan), and presently I am working with Pakistan's Largest Oil Refinery (Cnergyico)as Offshore Manager, looking after Most of the Offsite/Offshore departments which include SOLAS safety offshore /Oil Spill Response OSR/Admin &PFSO as I am certified IMO PFSO. Since 1997-I have Extensive Merchant Marine Oil Tanker experience (VLCC/Suezmax/Aframax) Loading /Offloading berthing /unberthing onboard ships & offshore SPM also hold Highest Level Certification (IMO LEVEL-3) in oil spill response I have 6 years of experience in SPM Operations and I have actively led Most SPM Projects such as Buoy Changeover & Maintenance of SPM from top to bottom (SPM to PLEM) critically and maintaining and participated in O&M throughout since the selection of O&M for SPM. Credentials: Certificate of competency (deck Class 2 Chief Mate Nautical) NEBOSH. (IG1 & IG 2) -International General Qualification & Certification in Occupational Health & Safety. Oil Spill Response IMO Level 3 Dangerous cargo endorsement /liquid bulk cargo ADVANCE OIL TANKER PROGRAMME (UK) Navigation radar and ARPA simulator training (management level) Medical first aid & ship medical advanced Advanced firefighting & signal Personal safety and social responsibilities Navigation radar and ARPA simulator training (operation level ) Medical first aid on board the ship GMDSS certification (MCA- UK) Proficiency in survival craft & rescue boats.
